Fire in azusa = thick orange smoke in Pasadena. Well, not orange like those purple smoke emitting tires on Top Gear, but still... Yuck. I woke up at some point early this morning because my throat was dry from the smoke and my room smelled like a barbeque pit. All the ashes around make the air quality complete shit, but I guess that's what you get living in SoCal.
Long time no nothing on here, but what can I say, things have changed. I'm no longer an art major!

That's right folks, I've changed my major to Anthropology and with my 3.6gpa and rising, Berkeley is in my sights. Then Harvard for grad school. Or wherever will give me money for my learning, since I am poor.

I need to check in to seeing if I can get DAR scholarship money. The DAR (Daughters of the American Revolution) is something I could most definitely qualify for, since my father's side of the family has been in the States since 1639- that's only 3 years after the conception of Harvard University! Yeah so... I truly am an American. Between that and the Cherokee blood that we lost the paperwork on (go figure)... yeah. good stuff.
